The Decision Guide

A framework for the big decisions and hard decisions you cannot take back.

Career changes. Relocations. Major purchases. Relationship choices. The Decision Engineering Method is a repeatable, five-stage way to make these decisions on evidence instead of a hunch, built by a systems engineer who spent fifteen years making sure expensive, hard-to-reverse decisions did not get made carelessly.

Start with the free 10-minute audit

Five stages, run in the same order every time

Whatever the decision is, the sequence does not change.

01
FRAME
Define the real decision, not the surface question.
02
ANALYZE
Separate evidence from assumption. Map options, risk, and tradeoffs.
03
EVALUATE
Score decision readiness instead of relying on how it feels.
04
EXECUTE
Commit to one costly-to-reverse action within a day.
05
REVIEW
Judge the reasoning separately from the outcome, and find your signature failure.

Common questions

What makes a decision "big" or "hard"?

It is difficult to reverse, affects more than one area of your life, or carries real cost if you get it wrong: a career change, a move, a major purchase, a relationship choice.

How is this different from journaling or just thinking it through?

Journaling captures thoughts in whatever order they arrive. This forces a specific sequence: frame first, then gather evidence, then score readiness before you act, so the same blind spot does not repeat next time.

Do I need the free Audit before buying the Blueprint?

It helps but is not required. The Audit takes ten minutes and tells you if you are ready to decide. The Blueprint goes further and builds the decision out.
